Photonic Integrated Circuit Components
CyOptics’ in-house Indium Phosphide (InP) and Silica-on Silicon technology platforms and diverse toolbox of device elements enable the efficient design and the scalable high volume fabrication of a broad variety of optical ASICs. CyOptics achieves highest levels of integration either by single chip (monolithic) integration, or by multi-chip (hybrid) assemblies, using both InP and Silica on Silicon together with our highly automated, sub-micron precision assembly platforms. The high level of integration enables us to provide solutions that have significantly smaller size, higher reliability and lower power consumption as compared to traditional discrete components. Current products include 40G and 100G Polarization-Multiplexed-Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (PM-QPSK) receivers conforming with the OIF-DPC-RX-01.0 implementation agreement for coherent applications in the long haul market segment as well as 10x10G Transmit/Receive Optical Subassembly (TOSA/ROSA) for the metro market. CyOptics has also introduced 4x10G TOSA/ROSA for the 40G-LR4 LAN/Datacenter market and is currently developing 4x25G TOSA/ROSA for 100G-LR4 applications in compliance with the IEEE-802.bc specifications.
